The Spice house is 45 minutes from Galle to the West and 10 minutes from the larger town of Matara to the East. Mirissa, a tropical paradise on the south coast of Sri Lanka offers its visitors with 3 bays within few kilometers which are a beautiful curve of sandy beach with crystal clear water perfect for snorkeling, watching blue whales and dolphins close to shore, turtle hatchery, sunset at the rocky headlands, rock pools, British built Dondra Lighthouse of about 50 meters height, seafood restaurants and lively bars.
